# Create a Statuspage

### Creating a Statuspage

* Go to **Status pages** → **Create status page.**
* Configure the unique url for the statuspage by customizing the second half. You can configure a custom domain for the statuspage later.
* Enter an easy to remember and recognize name for the statuspage in the next text field.
* Provide an optional short description for the statuspage.
* Choose the monitors that you would like to show in the stauspage.
* Click **Create** to create the statuspage and you can start customising the status page after it's created.
