# Create a Project

Projects are an easiest way to categorize, tag and filter your different monitors, heartbeats, domains and statupages.

### Creating a Project

* Go to **Projects** → **Create project**
* Enter an easy to remember and recognize name for the project in the text field.
* Choose a color to differentiate and identify this project.
* Click **Create** to create the project.
